NeXus Client?

Is anyone having issues with the NeXus client after the recent update i.e. it randomly closing off?

In particular people running it on a VPS would like to hear if anyone using Photon is having issues with the clients rapidly shutting off?

I do understand there is a thread dedicated to VPS use but I'd like to know generally if they're are any issues with the client outwith the VPS users also?

My client personally shuts off after a minute of use a freezes meaning I have to reboot my VPS. Anyone else?

 

The client is usually a bit buggy after an expansion.

 

All the bots usually need some time after an RS update in order to work properly.

I'm not sure what you mean by your client shutting off, but my clients close all the time on Photon. It's so damn annoying.

 

Yeah it says bots are back up , however my soul wars bot is messing up for some reason, guess ill just give it a rest tonight and hopefully it will be fixed in morning

 

Disapearing, as if I clicked X when I havn't after maybe 2 minutes of the bot running. As if the process is being killed.

Yes, my clients close all the time on their own. It happens strictly on PhotonVPS, my other VPS provider does not do this.

After reopening your client around 4 or 5 times it will stay open and won't close anymore.

It's lame as hell, I know.

 

No, I'm used to that issue and it isn't that I normally open clients like you say and do so until they stop disapearing. This is different, literally have opened 10 clients for one bot and it has happened to every single one.

Photon invoiced me for another months VPS early I had to laugh. I was thinking about upgrading to warp 4 but no chance at this rate.

 

I get this now mostly on my dedicated server, and not my photon vps anymore. It seems to have stabilized on my photon as of late but the dedi runs into so many problems with client closing. It seems certain scripts close easier than others, try running multiple RC'ers.
Seems to have been started with the recent nexus update, not the most recent but the one before that. No ideas right now about it.

 

Yeah, it's very very frustrating considering the only reason I pay for a VPS is so I can put on the bots and check them every so often without hastle. So it isn't very good when I'm literally spending 20-30 minutes setting them up alone.

Are you talking about like when a client kind of freezes and you can't do anything but minimize it, and it's just a gray box. Like it won't even close, either?

If so, I also get this issue but I just reboot my VPS and it goes away.
