I'm starting up a novice team with Smiling Demon (voted best photographer on PR last year).

You'll want to get yourself re-classed as things have gotten even harder this year. Early last year I was high inter, now I'm mid-high moderate.

 

It's gotten hard as shit. I've been tagging for almost 3 years now and just hit high mod.

@tribal I'm going to re-apply to TTR with some new pieces in about 2 weeks. If i don't make it I'll join hectate :3

 

the thing is, i only really make old school style tags. I've noticed they get classed much lower (((((

I'll get re-classed, then apply. Got High Novice, I want at least Low Mod before I join, and I don't like classing, it's pretty biased and suppressive.

it always amazes me how people take ranks for their graphics from 15 year olds that have never done even one class for graphics design (In college I mean) and "class" them as if they know what they're talking about...it also amazes me that tags are considered graphics...

anyone can slap c4d's/brushes on a small canvas and follow some basic design principals...

I suck pretty bad, I'd say I'm low novice. I've made a few decent tags, but meh.

 

Where are your tags that are amazing if they are so easy? and most taggers do a lot more than tag. A lot are we designers, a lot are photographers, a lot actually own graphic design businesses.

Go make a pro tag and I will agree with you.

 

How should I go about classifying myself and my sigs or whatnot?

I wish I could join. I am going to keep working on my tags and maybe get to low novice but I wont waste your time with me till I get to low mod which could be a year or 2 haha

 

I stopped doing tags a LONG time ago...About 0.5% of "taggers" actually know anything about design. They are mostly kids that have a hobby...I am a freelance logo designer (I live in saskatchewan and there isn't a strong demand for graphics designers...bad career choice tbh) I also design web templates and do vectors on demand...I don't waste my time using brushes and other peoples c4d's...

oh and so you don't ask...here is an old template mock up I made for a gaming clan...I made the logo too (its not that great for a logo, but its a gaming clan and this is the style they wanted)..

I'm a free lance designer for that matter, I design t-shirts, logos, websites, and I have done a little bit of everything; I have studied design for two years and tagging is still fun, we aren't trying to be professionals or anything - we do it for the experience, the profit, and the hell of it. Doesn't give you any right to come in here and talk shit because you think you are better than everyone here.

Let's see some good examples if that isn't good, that template is really basic.

 

1. I never said I was better then anyone...I just don't see the point in getting "ranked" by people that are just feeding their ego. (then again that might be the reason people get ranked)

2. Templates are supposed to be simple and effective...

3. Are you a "freelance" designer or do you actually get work?

4. That template is over a year old and just something random I posted as an example...I don't want my actual design persona to be associated with sythe or really any gaming site in general (unless of course I designed it)
