I still got it!

I haven't seriously fumbled around with Photoshop since my graphics mod days, but today I thought I should make a new sig given some spare time.

So what do you guys think? Not bad for a year and a half off, right?

 

The text, to be frank, sucks. Other then that it looks pretty nice, it seems to have some natural depth.

 

Did you make the c4d yourself?

 

Text no, colours yes, focal placement no, depth yes, border no, sharpness yes.

I have the same question as alternaz. Did you make the thing yourself? Or add onto it? Other then that, it looks really nice. The scan lines at the top left aren't really needed, though.

 

Na I didn't make it myself. There are about 10 different layers with the same C4D on them though, just on different blend modes and with different effects. A lot of my artist friends say that the depth layer should be done with distort -> displace, but I tried out glass instead and it turned out fine

 

I think it's great, if I took a year and a half off I wouldn't be able to create anything as good. At the moment, though, I only create around one or two GFX pieces a month due to time constraints and lack of inspiration.

The text does need improving, though.
