New Sacred Clay Weapon Glitch: Wield Bow AND Shield!

Found this glitch by accident, it's kinda cool I suppose.

How to:

Wear your sacred clay morph weapon. If it's not set to melee or mage now, change it so it is. Equipt a shield (any shield works). While wearing the morph weapon, go to combat equipt interface and right click the weapon and chose option> operate. Do this until your weapon turns to a bow, and bam. Wielded bow with shield. Have fun with it, as this will be fixed soon.

YES you can fight with it.
YES shield gives bonus as if you were wearing it any other time.
YES it's cool.
YES it will be fixed soon.

riiped are any of these new items any good at all? like compared to barrows, rune armour, bandos, and magic shortbow, etc...

 

Not really. I havn't spent much time comparing the stats on the new items but the melee style weapon has the same bonus as rune scim, and the magic staff has same bonus as normal f2p staves. So complete the pattern, the rest of the items aren't to kill for. Catchy look though

EDIT: Keep in mind these items are efficient because they can be switched from combat style to style at any time. Also the new skiller items have the same option to change style for different skills (ie picaxe, hatchet, net etc) which give extra bonus xp when used. So 1 item for many skills is kind of handy.

It seems like a cool idea but in reality nobody is going to ACTUALLY need one item to use for all their skills. People aren't THAT lazy that they won't simply go to the bank to get a different tool for their skills. Oh well. A few people may put it to decent use.

 

Only happens when you have it on and transform it with a shield on already :\

Haha nice, I thought about this when I read on the front page that you could operate it and it would change. It'll be fixed pretty dayem quickly though >.<

 

Might not want to abuse it, bug-abusing can lead to ban due to people reporting :s. As long you don't use it against another player or to gain advantage, should be aight.

 

Can you attack with it ? It should look funny

 

i wonder if you leave it on now and wait til they update it will it be weilded as long as you you dont take it off? How long does it take to get the stuff such as bows?

Only works with the sacred clay bow.
But that would be stupidly good. Lol.

I'm pretty sure that they are the same as dragon, though they do degrade.
