Because you didn't read the whole guide.

 

People losing money or gaining barely any - Read the guide again,you aren't buying and selling the pots for the right price obviously.

Im buying for 50 gp below mid and selling for Mid price

I made 40k profit each time. I bought 50 below mid and sold mid price with the ( 4 ) maybe i should try doing 200gp below mid price when buying prayer pots?

 

If you accidentally drink any of the doses of p pot. You'll gain less money. I did this like a few times so its kinda tedious. Must be alert. Good money for people with low skill stats.

You need to sell the (4) prayer pots for OVER medium price.

 

you should mention that you should sell the p pots for over med price.

 

Nice idea.. But little profit..

 

OK lets do a little math.
You buy the prayer pots (3) for 20 gp bellow MID price
You sell the prayer pots (4) for MID price
You sell the empty vials for mid price
We will do it for 4 potions as 4 potions (3) = 3 potions (4)

[(7676x3)+73]-[5707x4]
= 23,101 - 22,828
= 273 gp profit.

So assuming you can buy the pots for 50 gp under, you would make 273k profit for every 4k pots. Not that good of money for anyone with even half decent stats. ITs very tedious. Nice idea but not great.

Great.. Rgiht after you've leeched it . Good guide.. Gave a try messed up pots sitll made a teensy bit of money lol.

 

Merchanting is still alive & well. even though it's a little bit trickier to do with some items thanks to the GE. Here's a quick tip:

*buy around 100 mith bars
*buy around 100 emeralds
*smith the bars into bolts
*cut the emeralds to bolt tips
*attach the bolt tips & enchant
*sell or keep your new bolts
