New Jagex Accounts?

Hey guys, so I haven't played my OSRS account in years and I was looking to post it up to here to sell.
Is there a way to not transfer my account to a Jagex account before selling? I'm unable to login without doing so, and I can't take screenshots of my account without doing so.

Afaik, it's not a requirement to link your account to a Jagex account. For your purposes, I almost feel it'd be more beneficial not to.

 

for selling it is better to not upgrade to a jagex account because it is easier to sell that way since most buyers prefer non jagex upgraded accs. for playing, it is better to upgrade to jagex under certain circumstances, although there are pros and cons with both jagex and regular (now called legacy) accounts.

 

are you locked into an upgraded account if you do it or can you simply unlink like authenticator?

 

Lets say you have 2 accounts on the same Jagex Account and you want to sell one you'll basically have to sell both because whoever logs into the jagex launcher will have access to both accounts and once an account is added to the jagex launcher you can't remove it.
