Hello, I have a problem, my recently created .rar file stopped to open and WinRAR showed - Packed data CRC failed in volume name. The volume is corrupt. I checked all other my rar archives, they were valid. Does someone advice a way to repair winrar archive? Anything….
Your error message has evident nature, .rar archive was damaged by external thing.. WinRAR has internal recovery option, only open winrar, after archive and click recover archive, in case it didn't effective, then it might be that .rar file is heavily crashed. Some of my co-workers praised Recovery Toolbox for RAR, and link on demo, I found it via google I hope it helps you, because those geeks saw dozens similar issues with crashed files)))
