new GP market

So with the new servers being put into the RS game, what do you recon gold will be sold at, and in what increments? will it be sold by 100k, 50k, 1m?

and what do you think the price of it will be? Gold will be very hard to come by for the 1st few months

Thoughts?

 

Could even be 1/m to start with, or even more. Of course over time it will decrease.

 

I remember when gold was $6-8/m. It'll probably start over $2/m, then slowly decrease over time.

 

All i know is that real rsgp price will crash, possibly to 0.2$, since people will be more interested in the new server there will be less demand, so if this happens stock up guys and buy rsgp!

 

First few months, I wouldn't be surprised if it was $3-4. Gold4RS most likely over $5-6.

It's not going to go down until botting is established on a wide scale. It could be months, maybe even the first year or so.

Obviously going to decrease, but it won't be the .25 or so it currently is for years.

Honestly, you can find out what prices will be like by doing massive gravedigging.

Go back to 2007 and you'll see that gold was 3-4, maybe even 5.

Go back even earlier, you're paying $10+.

 

I think to start with it will be $10/m+ and won't decrease for quite some time. I remember when I played RS and it was £10/m. Didn't check Sythe then so not sure what Sythe price was.

Proj06 was a crazy price for mills and people were paying. That was for a priv server with MANY bugs and still in BETA.

If RS release 07 servers you know it is there to STAY and will be STABLE. I think 10$/m will be the MINIMUM price personally.

People buy mills to buy rares... Boom we have the start of a fucked economy.. Flowering clans will be there still

 

The price will depend on the release of public bots tbh.

 

If people start botting, it'll shoot down pretty quick. However, with no gwd etc releasing hundreds of M a day into the game it'll be harder. I reckon. It'll be sold per mill, at prices of 3-4$

Hard to say atm. It's all dependant on whether or not bots will regain their former glory. I hope Jagex adapt their current bot detection system to the 2007 version.

 

No gold will be sold straight away because there will be none haha.

I would say around $4-5 /m to start up.

 

Even with BOTS it will stay high for ages I believe due to the fact the demand is going to be huge.

Even with a high % of BOTS they won't be bringing anywhere near the enough of mills to supply demand meaning any botters at the start are going to be making a large sum of cash.

Due to the demand there will be no need for competition between the botters as they will instantly sell out.

Think of RS at this day, there is Bills or even Trills being sold daily and the price is still .3+.

For the first few months of 2007RS there will be a few hundred mill sold at max I would believe.

I think it will be a good year or 2 before prices even drop below $5/m.

yeahe price wise i wont see gold being below a few dollars a mill for a while as it'll be months before even 100m is in the game and people buy more than that at once especially gold buyers/sellers

 

How are bots going to make much? There won't be any gold in the game the begin with. You'll have to sell to shops until some people start getting to high alching which then they won't have access to the runes required to turn a profit. There isn't going to be massive amounts of money in the game for a long while. People won't even be buying millions to begin with... People won't be able to make millions because there won't be an economy for them to make it with. All the money has to be created. How many people make massive amounts of money through creating it? You can high alch but good luck with that when you have very limited access to the runes you need to not only level but to actually do it. Oh and good luck finding items to do it to!

 

You can still bot and collect coins from killing monsters, or sell all botted goods to the shops.

 

Damn... I can't believe they will have 2 servers... :0 but I believe the price of gp on the new servers will be crazy

 

I think gold will be really high to be honest, I personally will probably stay out of that until there is a steady rate
