need a new laptop, could someone help me out?

hey guys im looking to buy a new laptop, spending around 600-700 euros, could go higher.

in mainly going to do schoolwork on it and play some games like league of legends.

What size were you looking for? Do you play, or are planning on playing anything more "intense" than league? Does it need to be light and have good battery life, or can you plug it in at class?

It's hard to recommend a laptop when you only give a price-range, there are many factors that go into finding the right one.

That's $650 USD on Amazon, around 600 euros, and should play league pretty well. You will need a mouse too though so maybe factor that in if you don't have one already!

 

I don't think anything with a core-M is going to be able to run many, if any games with descent settings and a respectable FPS.

I think you should go for any laptop with Skylake Core i5 or above processor with discreet graphics card, so it can run more resource-demanding games and minimum 8GB of RAM for smoother multi-tasking purposes especially for running multiple programs simultaneously while working on your projects. There are several 2016 Dell models with such specs around $800 and I think that should go well with your budget....

Imo I'd go for a Lenovo Y series, I had a y510p for three years before I built my PC and for the price it was difficult to beat. You can find them regularly for ~$900 which would be some 830 euros.
