A call for help - Client feature ideas

Hey guys. For those of you unaware of my Runescape client, Eternity, check it out here: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=986085

I'm kind of blocked for ideas right now since I don't play the game, and am not a mod here anymore, so I'm looking for plugin ideas or full feature ideas I can introduce to keep the client fresh.

Don't suggest bots. The adblock is the only "cheating" thing I want to include with the client, besides maybe an autotalker/autoclicker.

 

Make it so the attack option is always on top in the wildy, and make dev commands unlocked, unless your not actually editing the client, then idk

 

I would suggest adding in the ability to track dates when you receive a level up. Say, it logs in the client when you reach a certain level in a skill and records the time you achieved it at.

 

I saw the video you made and there really isn't much more you can add. May I suggest having the IRC client to be on the same page as your RuneScape window is. I'd imagine someone who is chatting frequently on IRC and busy on RS wouldn't want to be switching back and forth on the screens.

 

Could you add an HP option that tells you how much HP your opponent has as it's used for PK'ing or PVM? PowerBot has a script for this....was wondering if you could add one into this as well. Btw, looks excellent so far.

 

I would love this. It would make the achievements threads so much easier to make =D



And I like Zelek's idea. I'm constantly switching between screens.

 

Requires editing the client. I posted in RS General because I don't want features that will have a chance of getting you banned.

Last I checked automated account creation was impossible, but I'll take another look.

Unless you add the dates in yourself, then it can't efficiently be done. I'd either have to edit the Java client which I won't do (read first comment) or create an extremely complex OCR (image detection type thing) for every instance of a skill gain for each skill - This would take longer to create than the entire client 5 times over. I'll consider making a manual tracker as a plugin, though.

Terrific idea, this will either be a separate plugin or I'll make it an optional feature on the RS window.

Do you mean as you fight them, or a quick highscore lookup type thing for a player?
