Gift 4 Syedi

I made this for Syedi:



I tried a new style, 1 C4D (I'm Proud of myself for that), and used some techniques recommended from you guys. Even though it's a gift, any C&C is appreciated.

Oh and I'm getting more inspiration for gfx now.

 

You should refer more to the rule of thirds - There's a little TOO much space on the left hand side of the main focal.
Unlike your leprechaun signature, there is absolutely no depth or space created.... you need to look back at that.
Lighting could be greatly improved- the rest of the signature should not be completely cast in light, only the woman.
Borders..... ugh.

But well done for using just one c4d You're beginning to cope without having to rely on them.

 

Bro, it's a weird placement. But, I'm loving your clipping masks. The text could be improved on, as well as the colors. Pretty okay light source, although should be moved to the bottom left a bit more. Overall, you're improving. Keep it up bud .

 

I tried to use the rule of the thirds. I thought it was that it had to be not in the middle, and a bit over to the right? When I search it up, it says you have to draw imaginary lines and make the focal on the intersecting lines. Whatever.
I kinda forgot/ignored the depth thing, I should work on that more.
I always have trouble on the lighting. I actually took a stock (or something, haha) that had two circles. A red, and a yellow. So I set that on soft light or something (as you can see, the left has a red-ish tone and the right has a yellow-ish tone).
Lol, I thought the border suited it.

Haha, as said above, I thought I was following the rule of the thirds.
There were only a few clipping masks, but thanks. I tried to do a neat thing with the text by putting Draucia on the red, and putting 2 in the middle, and Syedi on the yellow. Was that a good text placement? I'll try to improve the lightsource next time. I think I'm getting a bit more creative (maybe).

Basically, you've taken 4 or so different forms of styles and crammed them all into one work, which is why this doesn't work out at it's best. There is some splatter, some scratch/grunge, some minimalistic shape detail, and then a color filtering style. You should focus on making this into a better flowing work, with only one main style, then maybe after that worry about the rules of photography in making your works better.
