Need your help, Please read this thread.

Hey guys, Jay here again requesting for some help.

I Really want to start a great youtube channel with many subs, and viewers. Problem is, i have two topics to choose from. Which are, Gaming, or Computer help. For Gaming i would do Game Reviews, Guides, Achievements, Tips, Tricks, etc. For Computer Help, it would be about tutorials on programs, speedign up pc's, best choice, etc. Which topic do you think would get me more subscribers/viewers? Feedback would be most appreciated, since i really take this objective im trying to do serious. So if oyu have something positive that would help me out alot, Please feel free to post below.

Gaming Reviews don't get much views unless you are unique as goes with Computer help.

Either that or make a video of whatever is popular

 

Well tell me, Which has more possible chance of being popular?

 

From those 2 you asked, from personal experience I would go with Gaming Reviews, that is if you have a good capture card and have previous knowledge with editing videos and have a good speaking voice.

This would be my advice.

I'd go with computer help because there are tons and tons of people that do game reviews. If you go with computers try making tutorials on things that not too many people did tutorials on. If your gonna make a tutorial on how to make your computer faster check to see how many other people already explained your tutorial in their own videos. If it's too many then I'd go with another tutorial.

In the end you can do whichever one you want, or both.

 

I think you could do both. They are both closely related and if Gaming and Computers are your strong suit, it would be wise to make the most of it. However, keep in mind, quality is everything. Video, speech, everything. Users recognize a good speaker who has practiced his performance and knows what he or she is talking about.

 

It depends. If you have brilliant knowledge of PC's and the PC's applications, then make it PC based, but if it isn't great, no knowledge is sometimes better than some. So if you don't have brilliant knowledge of PC's, go for the Gaming reviews and tips and tricks.

 

Youtube fame is also not all video quality and topic, it's primarily about awareness and advertising.

 

It basically depends on which games you do. If for example, you do some walkthroughs and reviews on new games such as modern warfare 2, I am sure that you will get plenty of views. Just don't use some games such as starcraft, that's korean territory =]

 

Definitly go for the pc help. Not many people go to youtube for game reviews but tons of people go to youtube for help with lots of stuff.
And as said before you gotta make sure your organized and advertise well to make sure you dont put out the "wanna-be famous kid" message
