Need to spend 1200 Bucks

If you want to get a decent Laptop or computer, get one with an i7 Processor. I've only got an i5 and it would cost me about $700 go upgrade to the i7, but they are amazing and the performance is incredible.

Personally I like Sony Vaio's, high performance and I have only had to change mine when my old Vaio started playing up, but this was after 6 years of daily use. They also look nice and their new rrange have a really nice finish on them

 

I recently bought a Asus G74SX gaming laptop.

i7 Processor, Nvidia 560m 2GB dedicated graphics card, 16gb RAM, 17 inch screen for $1250

Its a beast.

 

I would definitely say laptop. Don't say such huge ass money on virtual goods:/

 

spend like 1k and buy a couple bil gold for as cheap as you can get before the bot nuke, then sell it after the bot nuke when gold prices go up a bit.

 

I would invest into a laptop. Definitely don't buy an alienware though, they're are over priced for the hardware they provide, a could alternative is ibuypower.com great laptops and price.

 

I myself have bought some gold, in order to invest that gold for the botnuke. I might just double my cashstack, giving me quite a lot of profit. I think that is your best bet at the moment.

 

Buy a laptop. It's something you can physically hold and besides, you need one after all. Use the rest on an xbox or ps3 if you wish.

 

Invest in gold before the bot nuke then sell it. When bots start popping back up build a boss bot farm with your profits =)

invest in some stocks. Not more than 10% in any one stock. Look at ETFs too...do some hard research before you buy anything.

 

You should invest it in something business related so that you can continue to make money Or at least save part of it. If you blow it all, you will be right back to square one.

 

That is true, cars are a terrible investment, they constantly decline in value.

I'm not sure what to put your money into, but if you are thinking of an account, make sure to only buy from like 200+ vouches for an account of that value.

 

A friends advice, dont buy a rs acc. Will most likely get recovered and then you will lose your money. I would go for a laptop.

Well, in response to everybody, I am 16 and have a job the 1200 dollars is all from Runescape revenue. It is pretty much my RSGP I just exchanged it for PayPal so I could do more things with it. I already ruled out buying an account, thats off the table. I am now trying to decide whether to buy a laptop, or to just keep it. The laptop that I am looking at is a Asus G53SX-NH71: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230141 . I think this is a good laptop for my money if anyone could tell me if this is a good deal. The other option I could use my money on would be to use it to buy a rank in a Flower clan. The only problem with that is that I fear that jagex would somehow stop all gambling in-game. So the options are ASUS laptop or Flower Clan Rank.

 

DO NOT BUY AN ACCOUNT! It will nearly definitely be recovered unless you buy it off an extremely trusted seller (very overpriced). I would go with the laptop, easily the best option. Although buying gold could work out for you, you might lose money you never know.

 

i would do one of the following:
1. Keep buying/selling mass ammounts of gold and get to be a well known gold seller on sythe. Maybe save the gold after the bot nuke and see what it goes up too.
2. Get an alianware laptop (i've heard they are like portable desktops)
3. Become a 300.00 Donor to sythe and get a custom rank and UT ect
4. Just save it and wait for something to come along that you really want to buy and obviously buy it
5. Buy a shit load of things and make a man cave (Projector, surround sound, futon, mini fridge ect.)

 

IMO get a decent lvl 134+ main (like $200 from reputable sythe dealer) and then save the rest. Can put into gold if you would like.

If you are into some IRL advice, invest it... Be sure to look at what is rising, what has honest potential, and what is crashing. I was 12 when I told my dad to get me ONE share of apple for $53 (back then). That same share is now over $500 in my stock account. I'm leaving there until apple starts to decline (prob not...)

Also early next year the Xbox 720 is going to be released... Might be good if you could save up for one on the first day (can pay a little extra at certain game stores and obtain one the day before release.... Be one of first few to play one.)
