Need some insight

Hey,
so just recently I moved to the States from China.
I'm Asian and 15.
Basically, I met this girl who is pretty fine just two days ago.
We met at an event, and it turns out that she goes to the same high school that I would be going to so I thought that it would be cool cause then I could see her around and stuff. So at the start we really hit it off, we were talking, and she was getting pretty close to me.
Then it was around night time or something, and she told my friend (the guy who introduced us) that I scared her/creeped her out, and my friend told me. I'm kind of confused as to why, cause I didn't do anything weird, I just talked to her.
I just met her, so I don't know what kind of person she is. But based on what I know, I think she acts a little childish, and weird but in a cute way. But somewhere in my mind I have a feeling she is one of those girls who thinks she better than others, cause I heard from my friend when she was a freshman she dated some seniors and I was a little weirded out. Maybe after she met me she went around telling everyone at the school I'm going to go into that I'm weird and I'll end up having no friends.
I'm not sure what I should do now.
And home coming is in less than a month for my school, which is weird, and I'm thinking of asking her, but I'm pretty sure a bajillion dudes and even some girls would probably ask her.
I have more to say, just don't remember all of it right now..
Tell me what to doooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
 
Well for starters, ask her. Just be up front about it. It seems to me that guys and girls both say "I wish [opposite gender] would just get to the point". So get to the point. Find a moment in which you guys are interacting, and pop it. If you're shy, maybe you could ask through a social networking site. I won't lie to you, I asked out my girlfriend online.

Now, as far as who she is, I don't know what to say about her thinking you're creepy. Try remembering what you were talking to her about. Did she make any faces about what you were saying? Did she respond really awkwardly, as if she were at a loss for words? You don't really know what could have happened. But dating seniors isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes a senior likes a freshman, it happens.

But don't get down about it, you're in high school and you'll have to come to terms with the fact that in high school for anybody, there will be bad incidents such as this. You just have to push past the small stuff, and if she has gone around trying to make you seem weird, then prove them wrong. Don't try to be the "cool" kid, but just be yourself, find people with similar interests, and just hang out with them. It'll be easy. Don't take this as a stereotype of Asians, but this is what I did. I went to the Robotics club and the library, and whenever I felt isolated in the school, I just sat and talked with a bunch of the guys I felt closest too: the ones that were smart but not really good in the social world.

If you really want to take her to home coming, i'd suggest asking her before someone else does, and as far as the part of her being scared/creeped out by you, don't worry; it's just because your new and from somewhere; different from most people at the school. But i'd suggest asking her before it's too late and someone else ask's her and then you don't have a chance. Good luck.

Thanks man. I remember her being weird and talking about how she would do Eminem and scissor Mila Kunis (or whatever) and I'm tell her I think thats weird. Maybe shes trying to make it seem like she doesn't want to have anything to do with me?
Well, if letting people know what kind of person I am I guess here goes.
I'm Asian. 15. 5'9. I'm out going. Before I moved I had many friends back in China and now I'm back to 0. I'm not usually shy, and when I get closer to people I literally get closer to people and stuff. I'm not sure if its different in China than in the States (I went to an international school), but I was the "funny" one in my group of friends and I arranged hangouts and stuff. I can tell how to act around different types of people and girls.
I guess I'll think about it and maybe if I reach a dead end I'll just give up and focus on some other things and find a good group of people that I'm more suitable with.

I guess I'll see about that. Maybe her standards are way above me.

Don't worry about her standards, because most the girls who do have standards, never really follow them. And if they do, you will know what type of person they truly are. But nothing to worry about.

After reading that to myself a couple times, so true. I guess I'll have to try to find out.
 
Just go for it and be direct. What's the risk? You can't lose something that wouldn't have happened to begin with.
