Need question answered about botting please

Okay so botany bay is supposed to be REALLY good at catching bots, well it portrays to be. Is there a way I can get away with botting without getting sent to botany bay and being banned. I really don't want to pay for VIP scripts. I need to bot mining bad.

 

Always a chance you will be caught. You are never 100% safe from botting there is always a chance you will get caught. VIP scripts I guess are just updated more often then free scripts and the scripts are more reliable leading to a lower chance to get banned. Go through powerbot and read the scripts and look at the comments and decide if you want to use it or not.

Correct me if im wrong or not, but I have not played RS for a couple months now

If you set your bot priorities to lower than "fast mouse clicks."

 

Botanay and Jagex both fail at catching bots.
Just don't do Dungeoneering, Livid Farm, or LRC and you'll be just fine.

Any time you bot you are taking a risk/small risk of getting banned but most of the most popular bots and scripts out there are just fine to use.

Just use common sense and monitor scripts for a while to make sure you find them acceptable. That's about it.

 

Also. I usually try to periodically move the mouse and talk some times. Then after 5 minutes of that let the bot go. Then so on. Good luck!

What kind of bot would ya'll recommend?

 

it's still possible, but be carefull. obviously don't bot 24/7 and try to talk every now and then. also doing 1-2 minutes legit training helps alot.

 

Botany bay is useless. If you bot dung you'll be caught no matter what you do. If you bot LRC there is quite a big chance you'll be caught as well. Botwatch is running in both of those places.

As for everything else, I bot 12 hours a day and have not been caught. I do various bits and pieces legit and a quest here and there. VIP scripts are not necessary.

 

It isn't necessarily about the quality of the bot, its about what you bot. I botted 1-97 runespan 20 hours a day. No problems what so ever.

 

i do runespan and i bought like 18 hrs a day and i havent been banned so i dont think there is much to worry about.

Simba, but Powerbot is working perfectly for me. Running it as we speak.
