1. Sin(a) + sin(b) = .3
Sin(a - sin(b) = .2
find Cos^2(b)

2. tang^2(a) = .8
find cos^2(a), sin^2(a)

Here are some suggested answers, by me, with all working out. I am not sure if they are correct, do you have the answers available? If you could tell me if they are correct or not it would be good, because I have my calculus exam in three days .
