Need help with thread pictures! HELP!

Basically I'm trying to make my rs account pictures visible on my thread without users needing to click a link. I have uploaded the images to imgur but i dont know how to make the images just appear on the thread, rather than having to go through a link to see them. I have seen this done on several threads but have no idea how. Also, my hatscript link to auto-add my skype doesnt appear to show the 'click to add skype' image, it just has 'IMG]' - any help on both issues would be much appreciated!!
