    Not sure if this is right as it's been a while since I've done this, but:

    Equation for a line can be represented as:

    y=mx+c

    We have two points so we can substitute those both into the equation above:

    (1,1): 1 = m(1) + c or c + m = 1
    (2,0): 0 = m(2) + c or c + 2m = 0

    Our coefficient matrix is then
    [1 1]
    [1 2]

    And the solution matrix is
    [1]
    [0]

    so the first missing is 2 and the second missing is 0. (Not sure why there is a pi there)

    We can then form an augmented matrix using these two and do row reduction to solve for c and m:

    [1 1 | 1]
    [1 2 | 0]

    -R1+R2 -> R2

    [1 1 | 1]
    [0 1 | -1]

    -R2+R1 -> R1

    [1 0 | 2]
    [0 1 | -1]

    So this corresponds to c = 2 and m = -1, or an equation of y = -x+2, which both the points they gave us lie on.

    Thank you so much for all your help, i understand it more but not perfectly, I am doing a science degree but a part of it is some hard maths work, my worst subject in highschool. The pi symbol is just something you can click on and it will then allow you to add equation symbols into your answer if needed be. Again, thanks for your help.
