Need help - Remove Email Address and Recovery Questions

I'm trying to sell my RS account and I've already found a buyer but I have ABSOLUTELY no idea how to remove the Registered email address nor the Recovery questions since the new runescape layout. I used to know how to do it on the old RS page but not on this one

 

Currently, you can't officially remove the Recovery questions from an account, only change them. However, I heard there is a way around that by recovering a lost password, but I haven't personally tried this.

 

To remove your recovery questions all you have to do is getting your account locked.

- Change your password while you are ingame and it's will get locked.
- Unlock it thro email, and the recoverys will be gonne.
- Email can be changed very easy, not sure if you can delete it.

 

I was able to remove my recovery questions without the account being locked.

Take note, the actions I mention were true.

Someone had access to an account of mine, for quite some time because I quit runescape in mid 2007. I came back to runescape in october of 2011 to find one of my accounts were taken over by someone.

After battling the person on my account for a week, i gave up and contacted jagex tech support with a claim saying "I just came back to runescape and someone has taken over my account. Can you please remove the recovery questions? Proof I am the original owner is as follows "first pass ----, creation date ----, first agreement number ----, sincerely <my name>"

within minutes, recoveries were gone.
