Need help recovering Gmail account..

Hello all,

I recently sold a Fortnite account on PlayerAuctions and provided the gmail account as well.

The buyer was impatient and tried logging into the account 10+ times within 3 minutes. He then logged into the account and started changing the password, and removing my recovery methods etc...

(not a problem because he bought the account).

The account is now disabled because of suspicious activity, and I have tried to unlock the account multiple times. (using the original password, my phone number, original email.. etc.)

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Sure have, at this point we are going to change the Epic Games account email.

Still not sure why the recovery for the gmail account doesn’t go through. I’ve provided the original email, date the account was made, received a text from my phone, and also a security code from my recovery email.

There is absolutely no reason as to why they are denying me access to the email. - I’m even attempting to recover the email on the same IP I created it on. - actually, I might have created it at College. Not sure if that makes a difference or not..

It's not something i'd expect out of Gmail, sounds pretty similar to my past issues with Hotmail where I provided everything they wanted but still wouldn't do it. Ended up just giving up, I hope you solve it though!

Are you trying to recover it and get it working for the buyer?

I had an issue with my account getting hacked before but when I contacted them and gave them information they were literally able to change everything with no problems.

The gmail issue is all up in the air. There’s three hundred different reasons it could be locking you out and not allowing you back in.

I have already resolved this issue! Not sure why it wasn’t unlocking, but it has been successfully unlocked. Super weird situation.
