Your first mil?

Sorry if there is a thread on this, I just wanted to know how you guys got your first mil, and how you felt about it

Back in 2005 I was about 2 months into my membership. This was when I didn't know anything barely about the game, I was walking around with excalibur as my primary weapon, thinking it was cool because it had a special attack, and my decorative castle wars armor, with my yo yo in my inventory I got from the holiday event. At this time, I thought if I had 10k I was loaded. I eventually came to the barbarian city, and saw a guy ranging barbarians with rune arrows. Being the nice guy I was, i picked up the arrows and said "here, ill pick up your arrows for you". The guy said "you can keep them man" I was shocked, and eventually he told me he had 480 mil. I shat multiple bricks when he showed me he actually had that much, and in '05, that much money was absolutely legendary. He went on to tell me that he sold runescape gold for real money, and me, being in 3rd grade at the time, I thought i was being hard core for talking to someone like this, so my adrenaline was pumping and everything. Eventually, we became great friends, and talked and hung out on 'Scape every day for about a month. I would help him do things, like run lobsters to the bank for him, and other stuff. In exchange, he'd give me stuff which cluttered his bank like blue d'hide, and even crystal key parts, which I thought was absolutely amazing. One day, I eventually asked him if I could have 1 mil. He said sure, just wait a week or so, and I didn't see him online for about 6 days. Eventually he came on and gave me about 1.1 mil and a crystal key, and I almost fell out of my chair. He offered to give me a free WoW membership for life via email, but I declined, considering I was so suspicious of everything back then. I never saw him online again after that, and to this day I still wonder what ever happened to one of my best online friends, what he did, and what he's doing today. But with that 1 mil, I bought full rune (g), and damn I was sexy.

If I remember correctly, my first mil was when I started merching heavily. I started by buying law runes on ape atoll and reselling them in w2 fally. After I had made enough cash doing that, I started merching Furies and Verac sets. Buying 3.8-4.0m/ea and selling for 4.3-4.5m each. Shortly after that, I got a Visage off of an iron dragon. This was all back in 07 shortly before free trade was removed.

 

My first mil was while i was doing DT. I walked into bandits and a guy died afking while attacking the strange plant random with full guthans + a fury. I sold it and there was my first mil

 

Hmm you just reminded me. When I was a f2p noob I was mage pking at hill giants and saw a large group of people piling a guy as he ran away, I joined the attack with firebolt. I didn't even know I got the drop but a little while later I stumbled upon the pile and found a green h mask worth 700k at the time. Def the most craziest thing I've experienced in runescape

 

First mill i made from woodcutting Willow tree's lul

 

I made my first few mills by woodcutting yews and magic logs. I got to 90 woodcutting from them before I even thought about going for 99 I was just doing it for the money.

 

My first ever mil was from days of flipping rune ess. Buying for 20ea in random worlds, selling for 30ea in world 2. Good fucking times, I loved doing that.

 

In the good old days, before GE where everyone used to sell and buy next to varrock west bank in the grass. I bought and sold black g sets until I made my mil, not sure when it was but thats all I can remember. Those were the days.

Can't remember my first 1M but my first 10M I made from merching rannar and snapdragon seeds at Camelot Bank. Frothin' that shit.

 

Mine was from mining coal and iron. My friend and I were trying to see which skill was 'better', mining or woodcutting. So we both did each skill for days and voila. 1m worth of coal ore.

 

1.7m drop party in dally

 

Mate bought 10m for about 20$, and i borrowed it to scam. after 2 weeks scamming i had my own 1m

 

I made my first mill reselling willow compbows, made 100k with cowhides then started to resell them for 120k ea , buy 100k sell 120k ea,

 

That's definitely not something that you should say on a site for buying and selling.

 

bought santa for 150k and sold later on for a few mil.
bought law runes from apetoll and sold by fally bank.

 

My first mil that I had made myself, came in 08 from woodcutting yews in edgeville/near falador.

Hey, someone else who did the law rune thing. Was good money right?

 

My first mill was back in 07 when I was looting rune wars. I was a level 40 F2P noob and had no idea what I was doing in such deep wild until I found out about clans warring each other. Dam, mains were dieing and I would go and run for all the rune armour on the ground. It was like looter heaven. I accumulated a full inventory of rune plate bodies, rune plate legs, kite shields etc. and ran my ass back to edgeville as fast as I could before some team of pures tried killing me. Glad I made it back! Rune sets were 250k each at the time so I made decent money off looting.
