Need HELP Can't play comp - REWARD INSIDE :)

Hey I'm having trouble connect to comp games, everytime I search for games it will just continue to search and continue to not find a game. I've had it over 70 mins of search time and still no game.

Ive tried: verifying intergrity of game cache, re-installing steam, re-installing cs go, increasing max ping to 350 (ive got fast net) and ive even had a friend from a different country log into my account and search for a game and still nothing!

Giving a $5-10 skin reward to whoever can get me out of my pickle

 

**Quit out of steam fully. Then run it as administrator. After launching steam, (assuming you're using Windows), open CMD and type in the following commands:

"ipconfig /release" - Will release your IP form your router (internet will not work for now)

"ipconfig /renew" - Will assign a new IP from your router (internet will work)

"ipconfig /flushdns" - Will flush DNS; helps with an overflow of packets.**

Windows Key > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows and Firewall > Allow a program of feature through Windows Firewall > Change Setting [NOTE: A UAC prompt might show, just accept it.] > Allow another program... > Browse... > Your CSGO directory (usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive) > Add > Tick "Home/Work (Private)" check box on the CSGO/Counter-Strike: Global Offensive row > Ok

No luck mate think it's more of a problem with my cs account not my pc

 

Have you possible been family sharing CSGO from another Steam account on which you are banned?

 

Nope just the 1 account bud!

 

Do you have this problem just with CSGO or also with other games where you can't connect? And is it just matchmaking or also the normal servers?

 

Just CSGO, used to be able to join comp during my first 10 calibration wins now can't find a game!

 

Does it give any error or is it just constantly searching?

 

Constantly searching, estimated time keeps increasing

 

Go to your games settings or change it in the console. Console command is mm_dedicated_search_maxping xxx or something.

change your ping limit in settings to something high and then the game will find matches properly.

Why can't I find a game when playing with friends?

 

mm_dedicated_search_maxping 250

Type that in console. It allows the ping to be higher in the matchmaking games. I used to have mine set at 100 and it would never find a match.

Hey man. make sure you haven't installed some thing that block's server's like mm dedicated server blocker. make sure firewall/anti-virus is off.

Make sure there isn't a program that blocks access to anywhere. uninstall programs u dont need.

I have also asked a guy that is very good at this things, i am waiting for his reply than i'll edit.

 

Try disable your firewall and then try again ;D

 

Download avast run a scan, or do you remember the last date your computer was working fine? simply do a system restore

Edit: wait a minute , lol i read your post after wondering why and thought to myself , this guy must live in Australia..and bingo yes you do

 

There is a software that blocks/picks servers for csgo, I will look for it and pm it to you.

Edit : Matchmaking server picker. You can pick AUS server and it will block others or you try to connect to other servers and see if it works. Pm me for my skin if it works lel

 

Tried all of those and NOTHING remember I had a friend in europe log into my account and search for game and couldn't find one either!

Than maybe the problem is with your account. try'd logging into your friend's steam and looking for a game?
