Need good animes to watch

Finally finished watching Death Note. It far surpassed my expectations of it, and also humbled me towards shorter animes. I'll probably look into code geass next.

 

What are your thoughts on the ending? I finished it recently too, and I thought the ending was amazing.

 

Most anime are shorter, and won't reach 100+ eps, let alone 50.

Kiba - Wasn't bad, you might enjoy it. 50~ eps.
Hunter x Hunter - 2011 version has 137/138 eps right now, still going on. Highly recommend.
Full Metal Alchemist - 51 eps, then brotherhood with 60~ eps.
Shakugan no Shana - Not sure if you'd like this, it's one of the series that pulled me into anime, though. A few seasons of 24 eps.

Will add more later if need be.

Edit: forgot D. Gray Man - 103 eps. I honestly couldn't finish it, but it's not bad and a longer anime.

 

Would people recommend Cowboy Bebop? I've been being pressured to watch it for a while.

 

Sorry for the late reply. I was shocked, my predictions weren't even close. That was a real mind fuck.

 

It's a classic, however its story-telling style is completely different to the modern day anime style. If you have no issues with the episodes being independent, more or less, then it's fine. Some people don't like that kind of thing.


And yeah, the ending for DN was amazing, imo. I'd highly recommend that you look into more things produced by MadHouse, they're an incredible company.

Also: Try Beelzebub, I found it was really funny, although the ending deviates from that of the manga, as it was cancelled, sadly.

EDIT: And also, I know it's not over 100 episodes, but definitely give Stein's Gate a try, it's one of my all-time favourites.

 

Watched Soul eater, both fma, and still watching the ongoing hxh.

I was watching black butler for around 6 episodes and I hate the plot.

Any other good animes?

 

Try out blue dragon, it has two seasons both combined together is over 100 episodes i think. I love the series, quite old tho

 

Literally anything Satoshi Kon touched.
Also Fooly Cooly, Dead Leaves, Vampire Hunter D (both of them), any Hellsing (I hear ultimate is closer to the manga but the original series is my favorite), Samurai 7, Samurai Champloo, and there are a lot of other good ones.
