Need Feedback on my Loot Logger Webapp

How's it going guys. I have been working on a webapp that lets you log your loot when killing things in OSRS. I love collecting data myself and originally made it for my personal use (as a python program). After showing some people on reddit, a lot of people wanted to use it so I learned javascript and re-coded it for the browser so that anyone could use it without needing to download anything. It's come a long way since my first iteration for sure, but I really need more feedback on how to make it better. I'm not a student of design in the least, so I know the UI could look a hell of a lot better. I'm open to any and all suggestions on improving that, so hit me up.

As for features, I have a decent number of monsters already added and a few bosses, including Zulrah. You click the picture of the loot to log it, (herb/seed/rare button for herb/seed/RDT drops). It should show to the left. Clicking the save will save the log as a .csv file so that you can open it in excel. (Sadly you can't name it, it will save as a default lootlogger(#).csv. I don't think user named saved files are possible from the browser, but if I'm wrong let me know. For now, you'll have to rename the files once you download them). You can pick up where you left off by loading the previously saved .csv files and continuing logging your loot. If you're like me and you keep your data in a bigger sheet that already has calculations (or a google sheet) the copy text button just copies the entire log for you to paste wherever you want.

The main and boss page has a search bar so finding what you want to log is easy. If you have any suggestions for design, new features, prioritization on new monsters/bosses, etc... don't hesitate to speak up. Critique is how things get better, and I want this to be the best it can be.

 

This is a bit off topic - But I know there is a BA community, and most of the people that do leeches use their points for high gambles, would be cool to have the same thing work for penance queen to help track what we get from penance queen, and also be able to edit the number of items you get since it's not the same every time? Just a suggestion.

I honestly thing besides the UI you are well on your way, don't try and make it more complicated than it is. It's a loot logger so you already have 90% of it done, now it's more or less just making it pretty.

I would say make sure you have ALL bosses, all slayer monsters, maybe even make some kind of PK loot tracker? I know myself, when pking I already have a stockpile of armor food weapons etc, so when you pk them you don't really notice the numbers going back and fourth from dying and getting kills so maybe that would also be something to look at.

I'd say keep working on the UI and you'll have it near perfect

Also I really like the fact that it exports to excel, maybe have an option to output to notepad too?

 

Just quickly breezed through the opening post, but doesnt OSBuddy already do this? I mean it's a nice idea though.
