Need Bank Account Help ASAP

Hey everyone my friend was recently diagnosed with cancer. I would like to start up a foundation and I have gotten business, my school, and a lot of people to commit to donating and helping out. Anyways I need a bank account that his family can access the money.

I'm 17 in South Carolina, USA

I need to know what type of bank account, what steps to do to make it work, and how to set it up.. basically I'm going to get my adult friend to do any signing and stuff but I'm doing the rest and I'll have my friend's dad make the personal details of the account.

Besides the bank account, you might want to use a site like this:

To help raise money. There's a bunch of them out there, so you could post on multiple sites. Also might want to ask a bank on how you would go about setting up an account like that.

No need to make a bank account, use your bank account then when you have all the money write his family a check.

Exactly what I'm going to do.

I called up Bank of America, some local banks, Wells Fargo, and BB&T and got all the information and decided to go with BoA and I'm going to open up a business checking account which means I get 150 free transactions (only need a few to deposit and one to withdraw) and it's non-profit/non-tax so it abides all rules; also gonna make his dad a signer which means he'll be able to withdraw funds as they please.. but I'm aiming to reach my goal amount and then have a huge check

Nope, over there it all needs to be paid for by the ill person. Though most Americans have health insurance which then covers the costs.

Umm i'm not entirely sure, if it's non life threatening, i think they refuse to treat you, however if not treating will cause imminent death, i think they have to treat you to a degree - Not entirely sure though!

They will help you out but then when you're healed you will have a bitch load of bills to pay..
