My question is, with my stats and equipment... can i beat Jad?

STATS:

73 range (i'll get it to 75)
72 Defence
78 Hitpoints

As equipment:
I have bought a New crystal bow, and have 1m to spend.
Should i buy another one? should i sell this one and wear rune xbow?

What about the armour, I'm wearing:

Verac's Helm / Zamorak d'hide / Verac's skirt / RFD gloves / Snakesking Boots / glory

Any changes?

And for the inventory? how many saras? restores? sweets?

I have never tried to kill jad before, but i think i'm capable of it :)
I have been training the prayer switching (looking at youtube with in-game sounds) and i now feel ready

I know it's many questions, thanks in advance for answering ^^

it is capable with them stats although i would sell the crystal bow and use something reasonably cheaper as if its your first time and you fail you're going to be wasting alot of cash. as for the inventory i would take 7-8 brews (4) and the rest super restores, if you want any more information add my msn ( in profile)

Thanks for answering, i've added your msn, so i can ask more and more questions! :)

EDIT: i'll send you a pm telling you my msn, so you can know it's me :)

I've gotten a number of fire capes and yeah i could probably beat jad with those stats but it definately would not be fun. It'd be long and boring lol.

I'd use a karils x bow with bolts (because i'm an old school fire caper). I'd bring a dharokers plate and black D hide body.. eh this is going to take too long to explain.

Basicly on you will fail you first time around. Save up your money to buy the best equipment, it'll save you money in the long term because you are a beginner at this. If you use those stats and equipment you will lose a lot more money than you would if you had of just bought the best to begin with. Remember you can always sell your gear after you use it, so whatever you spend, you sell back for the same price when you finish fire caping.

If you wear the best, less likely you will fail. Or you'll get further in the fight caves and thus understand it more so that next time you will do a lot better.

Read LOTS of different guides before doing it is my suggestion if you don't have the money to spare. Read pure guides and normal guides etc, pure guides often have lots of little secrets/tips in them, thats why its possible for a pure to beat it using the guide.

ok first of all crystal bows arent worth it... i used 2 up trying to get cape... was alot harder than just with rune cbow.

and zammy d hide???

black dhide works just aswell, id say sell the zammy d hide and crystal bow and get dharoks pl8 use rune c'bow with emmy bolts and sharks first time you go in... u should get a fair way through... i did this just tog et a feel for it etc.

then try with diamond bolts... oh and btw, all the gear that u waste on jad is about 750k a try... so i wouldnt suggest u waste your money on it seeing as you will probs fail a couple of times and with only a bit of money... not worth it.

oh and i owned jad with 80 range, 45 def and 43 pray =D, anythings possible =D
