Need advice on getting 138 Combat - $230 budget

Why would you spend $230 on RS..

 

Because that's what i want to spend it on.

 

buy off kjmt 0.55 a mill thats around 400m wich will get you 99 prayer and 99 herb dont bother buying a main

Aswell as the quests listed above, you will also need to level a number of your skills. I just finished getting all the requirements for Turmoil this week (other than the quest reqs), and I can tell you that you will need the following for sure if you want to do Temple at Sennisten:

- 64 mining
- 61 agility
- 66 theiving
- 50 runecrafting
- 65 smithing
- 51 hunter


These skills are all fairly easy to get, and most of them level pretty fast (especially if you have a few mil to throw around). If you need any suggestions on how/where to train each skill as fast and effective as possible, send me a PM and I will answer any questions. Like I said, I have just done this all recently! As for the $230 your parents gave to you, I would buy some RSGP now just incase it rises a bit in the near future. Don't blow it all though, just calculate how much you need to spend to achieve all the skills you want, and budget carefully and maybe you can save a few bucks that you don't have to blow on RS. You will definitely need quite a bit of money to sink into Prayer & Summoning. Prayer cost me about 70M from 74, so you are looking at probably 100M+ atleast with the current prices. 138 combat is a great goal though, good luck man!

 

Well, the prices people are listing in here are ridiculous.. You can easily buy gold for .5, anything above .5 is a rip-off. If you had bought the gold 2 weeks ago you could have easily gotten it for .4..

But if you do buy gold, you won't be able to enjoy the amount you have nor will you be able to invest it, or make more money with your gold easily, which does become easy if you have enough to invest, box, or dice host with, whatever you choose to do. Wasting it on prayer and herb will be getting rid of your money right there, just get items and other things you want and finish maxing your account, get prayer and herb off legiting in the game or over time.

If you can make double the money you buy, which isn't too hard then you can spend that on the prayer/herb, otherwise I just don't see it worth it.

 

Level up magic via Rock lobs *Barraging*
very important to barrage. use a vecna skull to get the extra 3 levels.
91-99 will get you enough charms for possible 70-80 summoning.

Spending $230 on Runescape right now isn't a very good idea. You missed the market in the downswing and now it appears to be growing some every day. Invest in something real right now and wait for the bots to come back and prices to go down before considering investing in RS, because you won't get as much return at the moment. Though if you are going to buy something for RS invest in gold .50 - .55 is a good price right now, especially if they are trusted members. Remember MM fees because you will always need to get a trusted OMM if the seller isn't reputable.

 

With that money you could probably get 99 prayer and summoning but i'd suggest you to legit as right now drags - frosts and such are making quite a lot per hour. If you normally legit you won't have any problems doing this

 

Just buy gp, you would get 350m+-

 

I would buy herb for extremes and ovrlds. otherwise buy a shit ton of gp, some dope armor and pvm

I'd use it to buy rsgp from one of the trusted users, and mainly use it on herb and pray, and save up what ever's left over. Hope I helped. :S

 

Buy gold .5-.6, dump it on herblore, constr, and summ.

 

The amount of money given to you is more than enough to achieve 138 Combat on your current account, I HIGHLY recommend you NOT purchase an account, as $230 will not get you a 138 from a trusted user.

Spend the $230 on ~400m RSGP. Buy Dragon Bones/Infernal ashes to 99 Prayer and use the rest of that money to buy some decent armor/supps and train at Waterfiends from 91-99 Defense.

After 99 Defense you should have roughly ~85 Summoning, and you can use the rest of your cashpile to burst rock lobsters or continue training at Waterfiends, best of luck and don't get scammed! Always take precaution when trading users you don't fully trust.
