Who would you rather be with, a Steak(Me) or a Hamburger(Her)? Although I think that saying is used for when someone thinks you're cheating on them. For example, your girlfriend thinks your cheating on her, you tell her "Why would I want to go out and have a Hamburger, instead I have a lovely Steak at home?".

That's an awful saying, burgers are much nicer than steaks...
Why do Steaks cost more? Because it's better quality, Burgers are for poor people, why don't fast food companies sell Steaks? Because it's fast food, and fast food is meant to be cheap and not as good quality.
