My dad loves bose. He had 2 headsets and he gave my sister one. It was extremely comfortable and sound proof, it worked for years. Not sure where it is now, but it was working last I saw. They are quite expensive if you have the money, worth it though.

No surprise yours broke that fast, it's wireless. I have no experience with wireless bose headsets.

I'll have to look into them some of my family members have alot of bose equipment and work to this day!

Well, it really depends on how much you're planning to spend. Wireless headsets can be fairly pricey and the really cheap ones are just shit and live up to their price.

My recommendations in order:

1. Astro A50 Wireless
2. Corsair Vengance 2000 Wireless 7.1
3. Creative HS-1200 Digital Wireless (The only problem I faced was finding a replacement lithium battery.)

I've been using wireless headsets for over 10 yrs, not that this really means much to anyone, but I know enough about wireless headsets to qualify the ones I've listed.

The problem I found with Bose *AE2w* wireless is that you had to have the headset on full max volume and whatever else that you're using with it on full max volume to get sub-par sound. The wired version has far better sound quality. Also, they charge you additionally for the AC Adapter and it doesn't include a case for it for the price you're already paying for the actual wireless headset. Lastly, the bluetooth range is only 30 ft. For some that's enough, but I prefer a transceiver which provides you longer range upwards to like 60 or 70 feet.

I've never had problems with Logitech. You can get some good corsair headsets though for pretty cheap.

I have a Sony headset that is just beautiful. I was tempted to get the Bose, but I opted with Sony instead. Works like a charm.

Astros a50s are definitely worth the price. I spent the extra money on the extended warranty through their site directly as well. I'll probably end up breaking mine and replacing them before the warranty expires even though they've been great for the last year that I've had them.

Steelseries makes good audio too. I had the steelsound 5H's for awhile, good solid Headset.

Oh why I oughta!!

I have A40's and I really love the quality, and comfort of them. I'm sure A50's would be an even better purchase  and they were on sale for black friday, not sure if they'll have a Christmas sale as well.

I've heard people praise the 40's over the 50's. For me, I'm VERY happy with my 50's and can easily say they're one of the best headsets I've ever owned.

Really? That's interesting... I've obviously never tried them but I do love the A40's. I wonder why people disagree... A topic that definitely needs delving into.

Edit: Also, do you know why I can't find Wireless A40's on astro's site now? Are they discontinued since A50's are out or what.

Not sure, it's possible. You can probably find them elsewhere though if you look around.

a50s are really nice, but if you wanted a cheaper pair I would recommend Sennheisers. Either the PC 350s, 333ds, or the 323ds.
