I find it funny that 'the moon has no atmosphere' yet there are no stars in that picture. Seems like they forgot to paint them on.

 

:S. You sure this is the actual picture taken? I find it hard to believe how we got someone to the moon also.

The moon exists.

I remember in an episode of Mythbusters, they tried to check to see if man had ever been to the moon. Apparently some things were left on top of the moon as man arrived. Not only did they put a flag down, but they put some sort of receptor on the moon as well.

The Mythbuster Team went to a woman that had an extremely powerful laser, and began to shoot the laser at the moon, and soon enough, she struck gold, and the receptor on the moon sent the laser right back to her.

Also, they tested gravity, to verify how it felt to walk on the moon, and discovered that the way man had walked on the moon was absolutely efficient for the amount of gravity existant.

Good point. Good point. . Also, the thing is it could have been faked. Theres no way of actually proving it.

There are currently tourism trips to the moon in development. Sweden plans on releasing them by 2010 but it'll probably be by 2012, they'll be a solid 200 grand and more for private trips. Also on several of the landings they put reflective metal on the moon which can be used to PROVE that they actually landed.

 

The moon landings could have been faked, sure, but are you serious?

In this case, what do you think when you go outside at night. When you look up at the stars and see "the Moon"? If it's not real what do you think it is?

Mythbusters proved that the evidence AGAINST the lunar landing was misconceived. They didn't prove the landing, but that the vast majority of assumptions (such as the flag waving) were just misunderstood effects of gravity, vacuum, and light reflection.

Perhaps the estimate was rubbish?

Inferior to whom? The Soviets? Sure, the Soviets had a great head start from the military projects of WW2, but our investment into NASA would far surpass them as the Soviet Union gradually crumbled.

Why should they? That's the billion dollar question.

I believe that the pictures and videos that NASA showed us about the moon landing were all fake. You can clearly see that they were shot in a studio.
