lol take the axe stuff like that guy said, get a decent glob in your hand, and run your fingers upward through the back of your hair. take your bangs and kinda like..use the extra stuff from the back and use it to keep your bangs in place. Thatll give the messed/spiked up look :]
Also, take your fingers and grabs the very ends of the side of your hair at about the same level, and pull it out. This is what girls call "The Hollister Flip" and you'd look absolutely hawt with it :]

Hair cream + run hands through hair and let it do what it does.

 

Just wash it, make sure you have plenty of time and a big pot of gel/wax, and mess around for ages until you get it nice.
