I'm surprised no one knows anything about these for a good couple months now.

 

I helped him get his name back. He contacted jmods on twitter about it and sent in a recovery form. He claimed that his friend "Midnight" was the girl that hacked him by social-engineering him and getting info to recover his account. His acc was changed to dark123 while "Dark" was xferred to some other account. Jmods were able to get him his name back because they saw that he wasn't the one that changed the name and his acc had been compromised. I have all this on skype/pictures. Anyways the name is back on his zerker now and I doubt he'll part with it.

 

Any proof it was "Midnight" who hacked him? I heard a completely different story. From what I understand, he actually let 3 or 4 people onto his account for different reasons (Firecape/Halo). One of the 3/4 did try and transfer the name (which was later recovered) although from what I heard he jumped to conclusions about it being "Midnight" who did it when in fact it could have been any of the other two (he had no proof whatsoever, he assumed things).

 

I guess it doesn't matter who did it, but I have screenies of him getting the account and the name back so I assume that he still has the account/name because the name hasn't moved since then.

To clear the air regarding the name Venusaur and previous comments on this thread:
The name is currently in my possession. I purchased it legitimately through Hattez, who purchased it from Josh who acquired it from a private source. I can only speak for myself, but from what I've gathered from speaking to both Hattez and Josh neither of them nor myself were aware that the name was linked to a scammer. The current chain of custody is as follows according to my knowledge. Josh purchased the name on the 28th of February, who sold it the same day to Hattez who then sold it to me on the 14th of March. I reached out to Runescape™ after reading his post yesterday (the 17th of March) to gather more information, but he has not yet replied. Once he does so, we will know what happened exactly and when. However, at the moment we are assuming the individual who sold it to Josh scammed it from Runescape™ (not to Josh's knowledge at the time of purchase). It's a safe assumption for the time being. Although this must have occurred almost a month ago or longer, as the name has been in either Josh's, Hattez', or my possession since the 28th of February. I can assure you all now, however, that the name is in safe hands and has been for weeks. Both Josh and Hattez as well as myself did not know the name was obtained illegitimately during our respective transactions. Josh and Hattez can and will vouch for this.

 

I have nothing else to add. This is 100% correct and we have the vouch's and proof to back it up.
