I'm no PC expert, but "Barbeque" isn't actually a word. It's spelt "Barbecue" or sometimes abbreviated to "BBQ". So I can say with confidence that the name "Barbeque" is worthless, sorry!

EDIT: huge mistake on my part. Depends where you're from, they spell Barbecue/Barbeque differently! Apologies

Honestly, I dont see the pc thread to be any good at actually pcing the names (in my opinion), I have sold names pced alot less than what I sold them for. Name sales is a lot about the perspective of the buyer, and not the actual rarity of the name. I do agree your more than likely to get an offer that is pced here just becuse it was pced here or because of "experience" of the buyer/seller, but in the grand scheme of things you can really price a name at anything, and if someone wants it they will pay it. On the other hand I do believe this thread to be valuable for new members to get a feel of what a name might be worth, but I would call them more of suggestions than an actual pc.

Therefore I would keep this in mind when someone gives you a pc, as this is all relative to the pcers experience! Not that I am bashing pcers, but im just saying this to make a point.

 

But that's what this thread is all about. Just because you found one buyer (who joined in Jan 2015 and may not have the best impression of names, who also offered less than a bonds' worth of gold) doesn't make that name not worthless, either. Of course, if I'm selling "fgsfds" which would be pc'ed in here as worthless, to a guy whose name is "fgsfds", then obviously it will go for more. These prices are just an indication of what it will be worth to a general buyer.

 

I think it goes without saying; every transaction completely depends on the buyer; different names hold different values to different people. The PCs are more-or-less subjective and a 'ball park' figure. The values that we give are based off of appraisals of other similar display titles and the general demand for it.

If you actually took the time to read through some of the posts on this thread - many of us are completely open to second opinions.
