You said the name is worth much less than 40m to anyone other than a fan. I think that's inaccurate. Pink Floyd is extremely popular. And no, the plus doesn't mean "anything above" the base price. The plus helps to give a ball park estimate while establishing a price floor. When you offered 75m+ for Asa Akira, you weren't offering to pay any amount over 75. Rather, you're willing to spend at least 75m, possibly a bit more.

Placenta's a tough one to gauge. I'd say somewhere around 30-50m.

Don't get me wrong, everyone's grateful that you're trying to help but conflicting other PCs with wordplay is as annoying as you can get.

 

Honestly, I've gone through and read most of your PC's in this thread and a few of them make no sense. Just because you sell names doesn't make you the ultimate authority on price checking them. If you haven't heard of something, doing a 30 second google search doesn't exactly make you an expert on it.

I could tell you had to look up Pink Floyd based on how you described them as "1970's music". I trusted your judgment when giving my own opinion on the value of the name, but I can now see that was a mistake. Pricing Pink Floyd at sub 40 is extremely misleading. It's probably worth closer to 100-200m.

As a word on its own "Hornets" would probably only be worth like 5-10m, but it of course doubles as an NBA team, upping the value by quite a bit. I'd guess that it's worth 50-100m to a Hornets fan.
