Rip in peace Gambit. Personally to me, Alex Ich was the main reason why they remained competitive/top team.

Real sad about Xpecial being benched, and then immediately being replaced for Gleeb, however gleeb is new to competitive scene and has tons of room for improvement I feel he will do well with TSM; I just loved Xpecial. I am not sad at all about TheFeedOne stepping down, however idk why the hell he is moving too coach? Only thing he can coach is how to feed.

He has four years of game knowledge. Skill=\=game knowledge.

Like Sellerman said, his game knowledge is immense. He's recognized himself his weakness is mechanics (which is Amazing's strong point), which when coaching, doesn't affect anything. He knows what to do, but his mechanics just weren't all there.

Maybe after 4 years he's just getting tired of playing, mechanics I do agree have fallen off; but mechanics aren't the entire reason the last season and 1/2 he's completely been shit.. I use to enjoy watching him stream/play competitive but the entire LCS this season, made me cringe. I mean yeah it's a personal opinion but it seems to be the same for everyone, something was up hugely this season with his play style.

Again, play style, mechanics, skill =/= game knowledge and understanding.

Yes you need a strong understanding of each to have said game knowledge, but what matters most is experience and having played the game and faced all types of odds, and situations.

Regi no matter how hated or once hated, has far more game knowledge and experience than Bjergsen, Faker, etc. Doesn't mean he is a better player, simply means he is able to coach and analyse his teams performance and give input where needed, and hence theoddone is joining him - as they both have the same experience.

Compare it to football...managers if put on the field will be no way near to the skill level of the other players, doesn't mean they aren't good coaches. Again, experience. Knowing the game, the team, how to react when etc.

I do agree with you 100% on this, I never hated on Regi for the fact of him going to coach; as you said he is so knowledgeable and I suppose Oddone sits in roughly the same spot as him. However was just venting on last season and this seasons performance and more or less how much he hurt his team from not realizing it and stepping down sooner.
