Appreciate it. I've always tried to maintain a public presence even when not exactly "available" per se.

I access sythe continuously through my phone, laptop, friends PC's, etc. just so that I'm able to keep tabs on what's going on, be it both within the community and in the staff lounge. I'm on vacation right now and I still browse sythe via my cell at least a few times a day, just so I can keep tabs on what's new and what's going on.

Sythe is my life, I'm not going to lie. I've been a staff member since early 2011 and I don't plan on going anywhere any time soon.

I know i get a lot of flack for my attitude and for my temper, but when you've been doing this for as long as I have, you learn to weed out the bullshit from the truth and you know how to handle it all. When I'm blunt or harsh, it's because (normally) it's warranted for one reason or another.

I get a bad rap for my attitude and my temper I understand, and I try my best to keep it under wraps but I do acknowledge that a majority of the time, it's warranted, which people need to realize.

I'm really not an unreasonable person, which anyone who's taken the time to talk to me can understand and would be willing to confirm. I can be hot headed, I do admit. I won't try to deny that for a moment. I do however take all feedback to heart and I try my best to improve upon myself as a person and as an admin the best I can given the feedback I'm given.

 

As stated above, I too, commend you on your efforts to access sythe, even whilst on vacation.

To be honest, you are practically one of the icons of Sythe. You have been around for such a long time, you have been an admin for quite a while now and have only proven your capabilities as someone of authority within the forum. I believe, we get along quite well, and I can vouch for you when you say that you are actually a genuine person. Some might take things you say the wrong way - but this is you enforcing the rules (well within reason) of Sythe, and simply doing your job.

I just want to thank you, personally, for putting in so much time and effort into Sythe, it's staff like yourself that moulded this website to where it is today.

 

N4ny, I also would like to commend you. Nah, but in all seriousness; you do a great job, and those who say otherwise are delusional.

Respect for n4n0 peaking, and look i completely understand that's why i don't understand how people criticize you and richard for not taking shit even if it's minor, should be interesting now to see roary transform as well

 

I'm kind of curious to see how roary takes to the position seeing as he was a VERY fast admin promotee in comparison to most. I know you're reading this Roary, and I'm glad to have you with us.

 

Well lets start with the negatives:

- Bullied me relentlessly with pictures of mushrooms once he found out I have Mycophobia to the point I took a break from the site for a couple of months =.=

Anyways, in all seriousness it was in the spam forum plus I'm sure N4N0 found it hilarious. Moving swiftly on... N4N0 is in my eyes when I look at the site, the top dog, the core of the site. I know Rich owns the site and is still active but the levels of commitment and activity N4N0 shows means I see him here, there and everywhere.

N4N0 gets involved with the community, and is also able to handle any shit he/the site faces. Apart from those 3 days of relentless torture I faced, I don't think I can put you down for anything. The fact that even when you are supposed to be having a break on holiday you are still active and fulfilling your regular duties speaks for itself.

Keep doing what you're doing. Apart from bullying, gonna have to report you otherwise

 

I think you're a little to hard on people sometimes and if somebody makes you mad you just really fuck them over. Other than that good job.

 

I'm really happy that I can contact you and get a response quickly and I hope you know that your help is really appreciated. I thought it was fantastic that you got back from vacation and adjusted back into your sythe mode within hours. Thanks for conducting the OMM activity check that I asked you for and thanks for getting to those admin requests that had been sitting for some three weeks (or was it longer!?). We'd be lost without you.

The most straight up member on this site, love it. Great admin because you keep things under control and have a good sense of humour. I also think that you handle situations that are unfair on certain members in a good manner. Hopefully you don't retire!

 

In the past a few seemed to have gripes with your attitude but I think you've really changed for the better and seem more mature with your responsibility while still being able to see through the bull shit and have some fun on the side as well. Good job.

 

I still have my moments, which I acknowledge. I'm trying, I really am. Thanks for the feedback though.

To be completely honest... I almost considered stepping down here recently....... I won't go into detail but needless to say, Govind talked me out of it.

Yeah.... Kind of feel bad for how I replied though after taking the time to think about it. It was hasty and far from professional. I just don't have any tolerance for ignorance, and I overreact without stopping to think.

Thanks. I tried to hit the ground running as soon as I got back. Been awake for 29 hours straight now, and have been using that time almost exclusively on sythe trying to catch up on everything that's been backed up during my absence.

 

Attitude seems better since you came back but wouldn't mind if you addressed my feedback too... bear in mind I wrote it more or less just after I came back.

 

As does everyone. You're doing well though, keep it up.

I've just decided to change my attitude for the better currently too.

 

If anyone else has any feedback, be it good or bad please feel free to leave it. I'm going to bed here shortly but will read everything tomorrow when I've got the time.

10/10. Good for you, really. Admitting to our flaws is never easy so props to you. Next step of course is not fixing your attitude, but just adjusting it. You are a great admin but your temper can sometimes get the best of you. We still <3 n4n0.

 

You really do a lot for the site, was able to see that when I was a mod. Sometimes got sad that you had so much of the weight put on you =(

Yes, to us it's probably pretty clear, but a new user could easily think that is his Skype address. After all, it is filled in on his profile where it asks for Skype address. People have joke usernames all the time. It's not totally unreasonable that someone would make a name like that their Skype. Additionally, the lack of spaces further suggests that it's a real account name. If he were putting a message there for someone to PM him for his Skype, he would have entered it as "PM me for my Skype"

Johng gave someone a Skype address via his profile, then that Skype address scammed. It seems pretty clear he should be responsible, or there should at least be discussion about it. If anything, he should be lucky it's only $10 and he gets a chance to change it.

 

N4n0 is so dank, I look up to him in a way... I hope he gets the "Highly Trusted" Rank..

 

Nano, we've recently had a difference in opinion, Ill set that aside. Your contributions and activity is an asset to Sythe. You and Roary are possibly the 2 most active admins in Sythe, definitely the most active during my time here. I mean even after you have hit the top, you have been on a roll. You get enough of these, and what I say shouldnt really matter, but you've done so much for Sythe and have been doing a really good job lately. I have been active again for a few weeks so I cant give you feedback much further than what Ive seen so far.

I also agree with pockets completely regarding that issue. I am hesitant on leaving bad feedback, even after you said to leave good or bad. But if you want it, Ill pm you it.
