It's kind of blowing my mind that I'm even having to submit this ban appeal.

In the report which was put in against me, screenshots were provided. The accusation was that I was selling hacked accounts. In the screenshots, it mentions NOTHING about hacked accounts. It mentions I am selling items which were obtained from a PRIVATE EXPLOIT (the charity corner exploit). None of the items I had up for sale were hacked from user accounts, nor was there any sort of proof to assume that were the case. There is no rule in the Neopets trading section about selling exploited items. It mentions that hacked, bruteforced, etc accounts are not to be sold, which I in fact was NOT selling. It's very clear the person who submitted this report against me was upset he had some competition in sales, and nothing more than that.

Please look into this issue, as it's very obvious from the evidence that I was not breaking any rules in selling my items.

Private exploit and hacked items. There isn't much of a difference. You used an exploit to steal other users items.

Extremely sorry for having to make a thread, but I wasn't able to reply to you otherwise.

The exploit I'm referring to was called the Charity Corner Exploit. The charity corner was a public event hosted by TNT. The way it worked, is you donated 5 toys of a certain rarity, and you would receive an item of equal rarity back. I found an exploit where you could donate ANY kind of item, and receive an item back. This method did not involve other users in any way, shape or form.

If you look at that link I sent you (the jellyneo link) it contains a list of the categories of items given out in the event. On my sales thread, I have the following for sale:

r99 Stamps
Meridell Food (the Draik Eggs. Light blue/spotted egg)
Petpets (the Crocodile looking pet, Candy pet, etc)

All of those items were given out from the Charity event. It's really, REALLY hard to explain this to someone who doesn't know anything about Neopets.

an analysis on some research I just done.
there was an event released by TNT that if you donate 5 items within a set specificity of rariry eg 90-99, you would receive ONE item back of the same or similar rarity. What the users would do is use an autobuyer to purchase cheaper items from the shop wizard or neo shops and then carnage would use his auto donator script (thread here: http://clraik.com/forum/showthread.php?42669-Finished-optimizing-my-Charity-Corner-bot-D ) to auto donate, so it would all be done by bots and he wouldn't have to do anything.

The items he is selling, not 100% confirmed, are obtainable from the charity event. What he done was an exploit in the sense that the charity event had shut down but by using his crack he was able to continue doing so even after they had shut the event down? as can be viewed and explained in the thread as linked above. The items weren't taken from other neopets users as such. I would put it on the same level as duping items in a sense.

This guy is somewhat reputable on the market - Clraik, he posted here that he received draik eggs etc from the charitable event (In which carnage is selling on sythe) and confirms that he used a SW Sniper (Shop wizard) to purchase the items and then script to donate - http://clraik.com/forum/showthread....y-corner-event&p=547182&viewfull=1#post547182. So this confirms what he is saying is true.

He didn't release the program to the public as he didn't want TNT to catch on to what was happening and to ruin the economy. In retrospect it just comes down to whether or not staff believe the items were obtained illegitimately - in my opinion I believe they were as the items are never 100% secure which may cause disruptions in the purchasing area.

They allow for this on Clraik as it is basically a black market but also a Neopets program website for this specific cause, some examples, they have Game score senders, whereas you enter the amount of times you want to send a score, the time allowed for and how many times - gives them free neopoints in a sense. I guess you could compare this to botting though. Well that's my 2 cents, I'll leave it to you guys!

Thank you for researching the legitimacy of all this, ASAPgang. I really do appreciate it.

@Sellerman, this will hopefully help to clear things up.

On the website I linked (jellyneo), they are a fan website who compiles information about Neopets and posts it for others to use as reference. The Charity Corner went on for one month publicly (the month of December). I was able to exploit it and continue taking advantage of the event past that time. Since the event gave out items of EVERY rarity in the event, they don't list specific items which were given out. As a reference of what you could have gotten, they instead listed item categories (which I posted above). Here are a few images which will link the item categories to the items in which I am selling.

As you can see, every item for sale in that thread is from the charity corner.

I have been a part of the Neopets/other game cheating community, on various forums for about 10-11 years now. Never once have I had a negative mark on my reputation, as any research using my alias will show. I have never sold items to a user which was later frozen/removed for illegitimacy to date. I've dealt with tens of thousands of dollars worth of these items over the years I've been a part of thee communities. That being said, my character does not reflect an individual who tries to rip people off or sell items which I have a reason to believe will cause problems with other users I trade with. With trading ANY neopets item, confirmed to be duped, exploit, bruteforced or legitimate, there is of course ALWAYS the risk of something going wrong, as trading in general is discouraged and against the terms of service for these games. I have provided a legitimate and secure service for all of my buyers for years now.

If need be, I am very good friends with administrators/moderators/well known traders throughout the Neopets community, and can have any additional persons vouch my legitimacy, and accuracy of my statements if absolutely necessary.
