I made thread about selling a pen used by me in the Non-Virtual Items section in the market...I was being serious too, I wanted to see how much I could actually get for it...I even asked a 2 mods if it was ok, and they seemed to be fine with it and said I couldn't get in trouble for making it. Everything was going fine in the thread except for a few spammers...then all of a sudden [N]ick locks the thread saying it's ridiculous. I don't see why only he get's to decide whether it is "ridiculous" or not. I don't really see much to be done about this but I am just frustrated.

Give me a break. You're not going to go through the trouble of mailing some pen for a dollar. It's not a legitimate sale.

 

I stated I am not paying for shipping cost...and if I could make $1 for a pen I would sell it.

Also, offers were still coming in...and they were above $1.

If you wouldn't have locked the thread it might have gotten higher offers.

Just re-open the thread and everything will be fine.

 

This applies to certain sections for Moderators. Not only one opinion should be expressed but that of another as well. If it's a legitimate sale, then I don't see what the problem with it would be.

It's the non-virtual item section. Maybe he wants to sell his pen and if someone wants to pay shipping, they can buy it.

I think it's stupid to close the thread. If no one doesn't want it, then no one has to post on the thread.
