Heyy, this is a song I've just finished writing with my band. It's likely that in 6 months or so, once we record it I'll post it up, but for now I'll tell you it's a soft song, with very little bass guitar and drumming, and an acoustic guitar that swaps between riffs and chords. It's called Don't Look Back (Verse 1) Tearful eyes sing through the night, A melody uncaught, As diamond teeth bite down and seek, The peaceful dormant light, (Verse 2) A sacrifice, of red and white, A cry to end the night, Darkness falls, as sinister call, To those it may entice (Play chorus chords, no lyrics... back to verse) (Verse 3) Ragged breath and torn up skin, The one who must not rise within, Falls on doorstep, crying, mad, In vein, (Chorus) Don't look back, you'll see what you've become, At the memories, coated in blossom, Don't look back, you'll see what you've become, At the memories, the torture, the phantom. (Instrumental bridge) (Verse 4) Tearful eyes, sing through the night A melody uncaught, (Chorus/Outro) Don't look back, you'll see what you've become, At the memories, coated in blossom, Don't look back, you'll see what you've become, At the memories, the torture, the phantom, Don't look back, you'll see what you've become, At the memories, coated in blossom, Don't look back, you'll see what you've become, At the memories, the torture, the phantom.
