My simple HTML website. What do you think?

    Hello,

would you guys check out my basic HTML website? I started learning web development 2 months ago and this is my first beta project.

What do you think about it? what would you change?

    Will appreciate any answers/suggestions!

    Cheers

I actually think it's pretty good, I would just work on the graphics (i.e. maybe adding a banner, and working on the navbar visuals).

I think it looks okay, you've at least learned the fundamentals of ordering your divs and placing them correctly. Now move onto getting the webpage to load as fast as possible, whilst still achieving the same graphical interface you present.

A speed test of your site currently has 17 requests. 13 are not necessary making it a 1.58s load time.

To better optimise your website ( as well as better practise ) improve your css skills so that you can create that navigation bar, without the use of images.

Such as one of your nav buttons, I had a little play..

Using css methods you can do exactly what you're doing with images except reduce it to 4 or 5 requests for that page.

There's also techniques to creating transitions on mouse hovers, I'll let you find out how to do that though. Best of luck !

    Not bad at all...
Except everything is a bid compacted and a wider page would be better.
Also set your body to "margin:0" auto in your css which will center everything and make it look better:)
