    My shot at an orb?
    I'd take away the text effect, and make it look more embedded into it or something. Here's one I did a while back, while it isn't as 3D as yours, the text makes a good example. (Ignore the arrows)

    I took the effect out, I also made it kind of blend with the orb. Thanks.
