it is most probable that the seller you bought the gold from is being looked at as a large RWT'er. Jagex only needs to look at what you bought with the 150m and delete it : /

Man that sucks. It IS possible that Jagex did this, even if bigger sellers have never been caught. Afterall, there are so many accounts trading all of the time. However, if you don't have a bank pin, its possible that one of your "friends" had something to do with it. GL in the future.

 

He got either phished, ratted or keylogged...obviously they don't just get it out of nowhere...one of the silliest replies I have seen on this forum for a while.

 

been happening to alot of people. heard someone got money reset after they bought only 11m. it was also through duel arena

 

When you get wiped don't you get reset to 1. Meaning you'd only have 1gp left. Unless jägex changed their system

I have never botted, only RWTd and have never even heard of RID until now, so that couldn't be it.

 

Heard oxodium quit because of a massive wipe? Staking is the way forwards, trust me, less chance of getting caught.

 

Agreed. I've spoken with stakers who have sold hundreds of bills via staking, and they all say staking it over is the safest way

As some previously stated i do not believe that jagex did this ive traded billions of gold across accounts and never tried to hide it the slightest bit, and since you said you bought off here that makes me doubt that it was jagex's doing. I think you were DDos'ed offline and hacked. Id check into it, I as well as others am very sorry for your loss.
EDIT: i also know that jagex doesnt have the capability to return items/gold to users which probably means they have just as much trouble wiping it. The only thing ive ever heard of them actually doing was rolling back stats for botters

 

I think you were DDoSed, possibly buy the buyer if he wasn't trusted enough? Because that doesn't seem like Fagex to just take a BCP, and leave you with a couple mills, usually, they'd take almost all the money.
And I like the idea that mbossy suggested, after dealing with a RWT like that, if you're going to take any precautionary measures, might as well buy the most expensive item that you possibly can, lend it for however long you're planning to logg out, so that way Fagex can't reset anything because the item is on lend, as for when you get the item back and it'll be gone, might be another thing, but it's and idea, and seems like a damn good one at that.

 

None of these could get his bank pin. Not sure about RATs, as I have next to no clue about them. I highly doubt it could record what you do on your screen and record where your mouse moves and clicks.

Sorry for your loss, my guess is you were trading with a big gold seller.

 

I appreciate the reply and concern man, I have looked up things about DDos'ing but still don't really know much about it. I did change my password and scanned my whole computer with AVG and Malawarebytes and did not detect any threats. I am thinking in the future that I will buy gold in smaller amounts and try to do it through the duel arena. I know that at least Snarchuletta sells gold that way, I'll have to look into it.
