I have enough money to be able to get a 560ti , I just will see how this one goes. So far so good.
You asked for a rate, we rated it, don't complain.
the 550ti is a capable card, although it's in between the 460 and 560(non ti, the 560 is a rebranded 460 Ivy)
1gig vram is fine for 1080p gaming. You only need more then 1gig if you're running 1440p/1600p/eyefinity/nvidia surrond.
personally I would have went with the 2500k, spent the extra money on getting a 560ti.
you don't need more then 2x aa at 1080p lol?
and lol again? the 460 gets playable framerates in shit loads of games.

hahahahaha.
sigh, no point arguing with you. you don't get the point.
You assumed I haven't used the card, I have.
I played with 8gig ram, i5 760 @ 4ghz and a 460 900MHz, 1075 memory, 1770 shaders.
It provided easily playable frame rates.
1gig vram is fine for 1080p, you only need 2x aa on 1080p, maybe 4x. Beyond that is for e-peen and losing frame rates..
You don't need a top of the line card to max games, even the 5770/6770 maxes games at 1080p..
people that use multimonitor displays for gaming(3) can't use single nvidia cards so that rules out the need for more vram there.
high res monitors, if someones gonna spend $1k on a monitor they will have more powerful cards then the 550ti, and by the time those high res monitors even get in the price range of 1080p monitors the 550ti will be generations old.. The card is excellent for 1080p, sure if you need to max all your games at 60fps and 8x aa then go ahead and get high end vid cards.
8x aa is useless.
I'm out. If you don't get the point wow..
