My Net = Screwed HELP PLEASE!

well hey guys..

i just switched from telstra to TPG Australia and got 24mbps net

I Was on a 1.5mpbs net plan with telstra for a while..

I though upgrading to 24mpbs would make my net HELLALOT FASTER!..
but its dling at the same speed as my 1.5mbps net was.. and its EXTREMELY SLOW FOR 24mbps net...

ONLY DOES 150kbs MAX.. Somebody help me please? thanks

i am connecting thru an adsl+2 modem its called.. NETCOMM NB5plus4 ADSL+2 thats the modem name..
