My meal program for cutting down

    My meal program for cutting down

    I'm cutting now, i went from
    18 Y/o - 6'1

    223.5LBs with 13-14%BF (guessing, didnt check @ first) - january 1st
    206 7.2% BF - March 7th

    I just cut out my carbs, when i lean bulk I usually do 5 carb meals a day.
    When I cut, every 3 weeks i take one carb out after I limit portion sizes every week following that 3rd week.

    Lost 2 lbs this week, its slow but we are getting there

    I weigh everything, you wont get very far by estimating lol anyways, 1 lb down this week. Started eating less carbs but need to add a bit more cardio. Overall I'm looking much leaner already as its been a month since I started cutting.

    Nope, I want to finish this cut before I start a cycle so I can just bulk up and maximize my gains.

    Lol, I definitely wouldnt cut your carbs like he said too, unless you are looking to mass cut. Do a clean bulk with your test cycle. Max out those calories.

    Yo dude, just do sprints. Best way to lose some extra calories. 3 minutes of sprinting is more than 15 minutes of jogging when it comes to burning calories.

    I know sprinting is good but I dont enjoy it, I like walking and just taking it easy

    no progess this week, not even going to get on the scale. Attended 3 graduation parties this week and my diet hasnt been good at all, also gobbled up a 21 inch pizza, had the munchies so not a good week.

    Drop carbs and go jogging.. I think we look to far into it these days with all the diets and what not out there, sometimes just gotta stuck to the simple stuff..

    Yo man, as long as you aren't eating bad sugars, eating less or no breads at all, and staying active you'll be healthy. And I know I sound like a broken record, but sprints sprints sprints sprints. I know they suck, but it's much better than just walking or jogging.

    It's more personal preference when it comes to that stuff. I'm no fitness monkey but when I used to train for rugby and it came to cardio I found sprints would make me feel sick so the coach used to just get me to do laps while the others do sprints.
