Basically a rich kid doesn't want to be like his father and take over the company, dad is extremely controlling, wants him to do whatever he wants e.g. go to Harvard and major in Business. Dad wants kid to be like him.
Sister disappears, kid gets depressed, goes to some school I've never heard of, dad threatens to cut him off and not pay tuition, kid barely is getting by, but is happy.
