I am currently stocking up on items again.

Current stock:

110K Rocktails
50K Sharks
100K Red Chinchompas
15K Dragon Bolts (e)
3K Prayer Potions
3K Ranging Potions
1k Super Strength Potions
1K Saradomin Brews (Will stock up when it's done crashing)
3K Super Restores
1K Ranging Potions
1K Super Defence Potions
2K Super Attack Potions
20 Infinity Boots
20 Dark Bows
50 Abyssal Whips
100 Dragon Plateskirts
200 Dragon Square Shields
850 Dragon Daggers p++

And some other stuff that I don't wish to reveal yet

Just to warn you, most of those items back in 2007 were a lot cheaper than they are now, such as the whip. So be prepared to lose some cash.

In 2007, the whip used to be 1.6m.

 

Comparing prices to over 3 years ago is completely ridiculious.
Whips will be max in G/E the day wildy comes back.

 

Not necessarily, people will be selling a lot of them. There's already a lot in game, and more are constantly being added.

And no, it's not ridiculous. The game is adding two major features that it had 3 years ago. You're basing this "merch/flip" off of what you think will happen, and I'm just saying, it may drop significantly.

If it doesn't though, then you're one lucky guy, gonna be super rich.

But tbh, whip will not go higher than 4m.

 

There will be no such thing as "max in ge" anymore mate. If I were you I would re-liquidate all that stuff into cash.

 

Some items I am stocking up on because of the update, but some items just randomly. But I can guarentee you, I will make profit on the food, whips, dragon daggers and pots

A few days ago someone said the same thing about the AGS's I bought.
I ended up actually earning 100M in 2 or 3 days of waiting.

 

Yes, I agree with Nate. It's extremely risky to merch currently. Anything can happen.

Im going to laugh when you lose all that money because prices will be fluctuating the first few weeks, and if you expect everything to be more in price then it is now its quite funny. Why would you think everybody would be selling all there stuff because things are going to be reverting back to the older prices over time, and that's why everybody is liquidating there items in to gold since it will have more value upon the return of Free Trade.

 

By the looks of your investments you're going to lose a lot of cash, especially on the whips. Anyhow. Good luck

 

I'm personally not investing in anything, I don't see why. the risk is crazy.

 

I agree very bad time to invest. Anything can happen. Better of waiting for the update then start merching.
