Wow, wish i could be there to see you launch it then see the cops get called, its always fun trying to act dumb to cops have fun.

good call nick haha...its pretty fun to outrun people that get called because of you doing illegal things.

 

i don't think the police can do much. And how would your neighbors be mad? It doesn't make a loud bang unless you put something in it to.

FHS , it makes on hell of a hissing noise and lots of smoke, ill do it down at the park though.

 

hahah macro shoot it down your street... That would be tight, like horizontally down the road. Neighbors would be like wtf is that flying down the road.

 

That looks awesome, if it is a success, maybe do it again but make it bigger with more fuel. My dad was thinking about getting a pre-made rocket but I don't think it will ever happen. Yes you do need a permit and it must be launched out of your airports radar scanning area other wise there could be a knock on your door and it won't be a friend.

Home-made rockets tend to smash people in the back of the head while landing. I suggest using an open field

I will most certianly try again with bigger motor. and maybe even bigger body for the rocket.

My park is pretty big, and no winds today. Launch is in 1 hr 25 minutes.

Really fun, never tried with one that sized, but firecracker wars are really fun!!!!! I almost burnt thie entire field, lol.

And xjaa, The fuel is in a diffirent tube, that fits with insulation into that. So it doesn't harm the rocket.
