my gear fails

i am currently a level 79 DK and only have 15k health
i also have 556 strength
200 agility
790 stamina

so is it that bad cause in all the dungeons i do everyone im with has about 20-30k health
but i am always at the top of DPS meter

Why would you want to carae about shit when you are level 79? you shouldn't even be wasting time on dungeons before you hit lvl 80.

 

breaks quests up making it less boring

 

If you're DPS, I don't think it's so bad. As long as you're doing dungeons and getting the blue upgrades from boss/trash drops or the one bag, you should have some decent gear.

Also, you're trying to DPS from what I can see, so you shouldn't be worrying about your health too much, but rather your power. My Rogue is around 6.2K GS or higher right now, and I think I've got around 30K health. Gear like that doesn't come so easy, but I'm sure you'll have a lot more as you raid as a level 80, or in Cata as level 85.

For DK's, I would use two-handed weapons.

Especially when one works hard in order to get Shadowmourne. (legendary two-handed axe)

 

You're the one that recommended him a frost spec, and you're telling him to use a 2H wep?

And you can get a 6.2k GS really fast now-a-days, gear is really easy to obtain, since it's so late in the expansion.

Also, you shouldn't care about you're HP, you aren't tanking.

 

For dps, 2x 1 hand weapons is better.

Dungeon its faster for leveling, and it gets you decent gear to reach 80.

My mage its 6k gs and i have like 32k health, when i was doing heroics for "glory of the hero", i always had more hp than the tank. At lvl 78 you can buy a decent set to start with, so you dont suck that much at 80.

 

get to 80, do random heroics 10 times a day, get good gear, be happy.

 

When did I tell him what spec to use? He's DPS. He's a Death Knight. He should be using Shadowmourne. -.-

You can't get 6.2K GS "really fast". SOME gear is easier to obtain, but getting over 6K requires the killing of Heroic bosses for many weeks, unless you mooch off some Guild that is already fully geared.

I told him not to worry about HP, as he's not a tank.

DPS can be better with two 1-hand weapons, but I was mentioning the Shadowmourne as it's a legendary and obtainable/useable by a DK.

I agree with your statements though, but he's just a few bars from 80 already.

And what's the point of that question? It's obviously impossible, and you're just spamming now. (granted they haven't even started the chain yet)

Whether the could or not is irrelevant. You can't replace a legendary weapon, and with Shadowmourne, there are other perks from obtaining it.

 

if i played a melee class i would get shadowmourne anyways, its not expensive now, and its a feat of strenght.
There are many people running heroics the whole days to get JP and buy T10 and tokens, you might think there is no point on doing that, well, im gearing my alt, a hunter to kill arthas on him too.
