My friend

So, I think that my best friend since 5th grade, might be gay. And im not even kidding.
He hasnt dated a girl since 5th grade, and has never kissed anyone. Were both seniors now. Were by no means un popular either. Were both on varsity baseball and some of the most popular kids in school. I think he might be too, because everyone jokes around sometimes, but he always takes it to far, and has to much fun with it.

Idk what to do? Should I confront him about it?
No flamers either, and dont be immature.

Also, i've been using steroids this summer to get bigger and stronger, and I know its wrong, but now I feel like I need them to make the gains in the gym I need, and that I constantly need to be active to even be adequate. For example: It's 3:15 AM and I just got done doing 3 sets of 4, on bench press with 225 pounds....This is the 3rd time I've done that today.

But, depending on how you confront him will determine if that is the right thing to do or not.
If you would have a face to face talk and tell him just to be completely honest and open about it, that would be the mature thing to do. If he says no, don't argue with him. Take his word on it, if he says yes, then you should still be his friend because if he was a good friend before you knew about it, what is the big difference now?

Curious, have you gotten good results with the roids? My friend is thinking of going on them in December, if he gets good results, i might do just one cycle. But then i'm worried i'll get addicted, because of the fast gains.

 

I've gotten great gains. But dont do it, there are bad side effects. And the myth that they shrink your junk is only part true. It doesnt apply to all of them. I feel addicted to them, and i have really bad acne on my back and chest im trying really hard to get rid of, I get angry really easily, and im a pretty chill person, I have all kinds of mood swings, not just anger, and I feel depressed alot of the time.

Dont do it. Im trying to stop.

 

Honestly, ask him, Say something like.. "*Name*, I've been wondering lately whether your gay or not, you haven't been with a girl since 5th grade.. I'm just curious and want to know, i will not tell anyone, i swear bro."

See what he says, if he hesitates to say no, confront him about it, saying you know he is homosexual.

Its alright if he is homosexual, if he is. Just tell him its alright, and its your secret until he wants to come out. Although hes honestly most likely just confused.

 

I personally don't believe in homosexuality but I don't judge or hate on them.
I have people, not friends, but people, that I know from school that I am 'cool' with but wouldn't call them my friends. Not because of what other people think just because I grew up in a small baptized church and my family strongly disagrees in it. I sort of follow them because of they're feelings about me and don't want them to think any different of me.
The only thing I support about them is the ones who are serious about it not the ones who go around wanting attention and starting stuff.

About your friend, you need to be there for him this is when he needs you the most as a friend to accept him and help him "come out of the closet". So yes, be happy for him and just tell him that you don't think any differently of him.

About your steroid problem, I'm a junior and play for my varsity high school also. My freshman year the seniors were getting everyone on the team and even some of the assistant coach's starting supporting it. It got so bad that last year we started getting drug tested. Our baseball team went from being a 4a team going to the state championship at least to the semi-finals my freshman and senior year to this year going 30-9 which is still not bad but we got hammered in the first round of playoffs just because we didn't have enough power.
I support steroids for that reason to be honest, it's not cheating, it's helping and your taking the risk so it should be up to you. If we didn't get caught when we get drug tested I guarantee about 15 out of the 20 guys on my team would still be doing them. At least I know I would! haha.

lol that's pretty odd to be honest.. Just have a one on one serious talk with him. that should get you an answer. Also about the steroids, I didn't know it was that common. :O

 

He's gay because he hasn't found somebody he likes? I had my first girlfriend when I was 15 and I'v been with her for 5 years now ... so yeh unless he realy acts gay I would just stay quiet and let him come out in his own time if thats the case

Finn basically summed it up. I've never questioned one of my really good friends orientation, and until last year. He confronted me, and told me he was gay. I reassured him that I was completely fine with it. Ever since then, he's been embracing the fact, making him a stronger person.

Anyways, don't ask him, because if he really is gay, then he's probably not comfortable telling you about it now. It's what Finn said - don't worry about it because he's your friend, and your relationship with him shouldn't change because of any possible change in him.

Also, I'm using the steroids for baseball, and I've gone from being a leadoff hitter, to cleanup. When I started varsity my sophomore year i had no home runs, 4 my Junior year, and aleady just during summer ball, 9. My throwing has gotten a lot stronger too, throwing about 85-88 consistently. And I'm curious to what sate your school won 4A Championship in?

The only reason I dont support the steroids is because its just really addictive, and some have some pretty adverse side effects. Guess that makes me a hypocrit huh?
